Re: reinstalling CC
I don’t want to install the free trial. I have already paid for a year of CC membership. I want to reactivate the account that I already purchased. Everything I try only brings me to install the trial version. UGH!

cs5.5 correct serial number is identified as invalid
I am trying to install CS5.5 on a new Mac.
I have confirmed the serial number with what is on my account. When I enter the number (confirming it is correct) - I get a message that the serial number is invalid for the product.
When I purchased CS5.5 (in 2010), I already had CS4 - so this serial number was for an upgrade. Could this be the problem?
I don't see a way with the downloads available to mimic a CS4 install followed by an upgrade to CS5.5.
Suggestions???

Invalid Unicode?
ok so I got a CS4 installation disc and it says i have an invalid unicode followed by a whole bunch of other errors. it appears as though in another thread that you had answer this question but the solution was to get a new optical drive, but I know fro a fact that both optical drives on both my PCs work fine. so how do I solve the unicode problem?

there's no difference between the trial app and and full app.
the difference is if you sign in with the adobe id used to subscribe your trial cc desktop app will be the full cc paid-for desktop app.

I just installed cs6 on a Lenovo Yoga 3 and the size of the type on the program is super small.
I have tried changing the display settings on my computer but that did not help. Help!

1. Get someone with a disk reader to help you transfer the files to a usb drive
2. Or,download the trial version from Adobe.com, install that, and use your current serial number to make it permanent
If you try the second option and it won't accept your serial number, you can phone/chat with Adobe support using the links here

try this one : open photoshop--edit--preference--experimental feature--checklist/active on dialog box "scale UI 200% for high density display(windows only)
If not found you must upgrade to adobe photoshop CC

Trying to download cs 5.5 production premium on windows 8. keeps saying error and there may be programs in background and I've restarted repeatedly.
some of the programs i wanted installed but the ones i need most in photoshop and premiere pro keep showing errors.
