Running Mac OSX Yosemite v10.10.2. Purchased Acrobat Pro XI from Amazon. Downloaded successfully. Ran installation sequence. At the end got a message that the installation failed, contact product manufacturer. Contacted Amazon support. Repeated download and installation. Same result - installation failed message. Contacted Adobe Chat to verify Acrobat Pro XI runs on OS X Yosemite - they verified, gave me link to download trial. Downloaded successfully. Installation sequence different but installation failed same way. Help!

I have installed the Abobe 7.1, it did not work but showed out of alignments of items previously put thru' it, with no option to add or remove the data. eg folder with CRT photos in it. As I mentioned above I still only have CS3, and the camera is the EOS 600D. When I had the 500D I installed the version 8.3 and it worked fine. It worked up until the update of Win_8. The software which comes with the canon camera only allows to convert I [one] image at a time and it is not fast. Can you offer any further advice please?

I have deleted the version you mentioned and tried the 8.3 again, still does not work. Deleted it also.

Well, seriously, if you "want to keep cost down", you can get a version of Windows 7 and install it on the Machine. Microsoft throws them out for free for students. Conversely, you would then be able to just get your little one a CC subscription or CS6 at student pricing. Your plan really doesn't make any sense, especially since the hocuspocus involved in transferring a used CS4 license (which is all you can buy at this point) simply wouldn't be worth it.

Ianp69549740 have you tried reinstalling Photoshop CS5.1? If so do you receive any specific errors? What operating system are you using?

All I want to do is reload Adobe Acrobat Pro. Where do you find how do download Adobe Acrobat Pro which I have a license for.

Frozenny yes you will want to uninstall and reinstall Creative Suite 5 on your new Mac. Adobe Creative applications are not designed to be copied from one computer to another. If you need to locate your serial number please see Find your serial number quickly.
