Which version of Photoshop you're using? Try placing the plugin directly under this folder if it's Photoshop CS6 64-bit: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit)\Plug-ins\ for Win and Macintosh HD/Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS6/Plug-ins/ for Mac. If Photoshop CS6 crashes or the plugin doesn't load then probably that plugin isn't supported in the version of Photoshop you're using.
