I have a 24inch iMac purchased in 2008:
Processor 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory 2 GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Graphics ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256 MB
Software OS X 10.8.2 (12C60).
The Macintosh HD has 529 GB of free space.
The browser is Safari Version 6.0.2.
The Flash Player is 11.6.602.167 and it is installed.
You Tube and Facebook videos work fine.
I received Photoshop Elements 9 Version 9.0.(20100905.m.9093) bundled with buying an Epson Perfection V600 Photo scanner.
Never having used this software before, I am attempting to view the tutorials.
Next is exactly what I do.
Open PSE 9.
Go to HELP and select Video Tutorials.
Adobe TV window opens.
The window is "Learn Photoshop Elements 9".
There is a long list of episodes.
Select the first episode "What is Adobe Photoshop Elements?"
A black window appears inside the Adobe TV window and stays black.
Pat, thanks for responding to my issue.
