Hi,
I have been trying to download my CS6 Master Collection for Windows (running Windows 7) from disks but it will not work.
I put in the first disk and it ran fine initially (including my submitting the serial number and having it accepted) but then a few minutes into the installation, a message appeared saying 'Please insert disk CS6 MstrColl 1 to continue' with only Cancel or Continue as options. I was confused because the disk I had in was marked Application 1; I replaced it and clicked continue but it wasn't recognised and the message reappeared. I tried each of the two other disks in the package I received; neither worked.
When I searched the Adobe forums another user with a similar issue had had a recommendation to copy the disk content to their hard drive and install it from there. I did this for disk 1 and it ran fine - until the same message appeared, this time asking for MstrColl disk 2! As before, I tried reinserting the disk, then when that didn't work I copied the contents to my hard drive. The trouble is the running installation program from disk one doesn't seem to recognise the presence of the content of disk 2 (either as a disk or saved to my hard drive) and there is no way to interfere with it without cancelling the whole process...
Anybody got any ideas? I tried stupid things like turning off my firewall but no difference was made! Any help gratefully appreciated.
