Blue screen and Licensing Issues

Just recently I have been unable to open any PDF files. At first an error message popped up stating the license had expired and I needed to remove and reinstll the programs. I haven't tried to remove them yet, since I don't know if I'll be charged again for Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard.

I tried the Adope Licensing Repair Tool and it went through all the motions, but now when I open a PDF file it either won't show on the screen or I get a "Blue Screen with words that are gone before I can read it, then the computer shuts down completely and restarts.

 

Any suggestions?
