Help- 2 versions of Adobe Acrobat

During the trial of creative cloud i was using version X of Adobe Acrobat Pro.  Now that I'm regular subscriber I hit the update button and I have both version X & version XI on my computer. I would like to remove version 10 properly but I'm not certain how. I'm worried it will affect th current (XI) one.   I'm on a MacBook Pro  OS 10.8.3.
