My disc with elements 8 photoshop and premiere will not install on my newer computer...I paid for it

I had bought and used adobe Premiere Elements 8/Adobe Premiere Elements 8 and used it on my XP.  I had bought this about a year ago...or something like that.  My computer crashed and I cannot find my download.  I am trying to install it on a newer computer  Windows 7 with XP professional installed so that I have my computer more like my older one.  The problem is...I put the disc in and try to install and it says I either have something corrupt or I need to contact adobe...  I tried 3 times...each time it says that it had not installed the program.  What can I do...I like this version...have the serial nos. and want to get it installed.  I paid for it...so there should be something to back it up.  Thanks for any help...Theresa
