My application kept on crashing on me. Sent about five reports to Adobe.
Decided to uninstall with the idea to re-install the software. However uninstalling removed everything and now I can't find any option but to buy new software.
Any advice please? Don't want to buy new software since the previous worked fine till some days ago.
My applications run on an iMac Mojave 10.14.2 (which runs fine)

It is the original serial number with the original disks and not an educational copy or downloaded copy. In fact It was valid under my account years ago when I first registered it and its gone now somehow which i'm assuming Adobe deleted it? Every time I re-enter it on this Adobe site under the register your product and on the installation disks, it says invalid. What I want to know is if the serial number registers as invalid can I prove I actually purchased the product from a reputable source? Or is permanently blocked and theres no way around it?

Alannan62467632, the only serial number I am showing registered under your account is for an upgrade version of Photoshop CS for Mac OS.
There are a variety of reasons that you may be blocked from registering the Photoshop CS6 serial number. If you can send me a private message with the serial number, it will provide additional insights as to why you are blocked.

Can't install on my PC
I am trying to install Photoshop Elements on my PC. I meet all the requirements listed on the Adobe site for RAM, Operating system, screen resolution (1280x800)
I have tried installing from the dvd and from files copied to my PC. After I sign into adobe I can't get beyond the screen pictured.

Thanks for sending over the serial number, Alannan62467632. I can confirm that the number you provided is not an Adobe serial number. This is why it is not being accepted.
Please review any documentation that was provided with your purchase. Maybe a different number was provided for your serial number?

New PS Elements Install issue
I am trying to install Elements that I purchased on my new laptop and am getting the error, “download cannot continue… Please contact adobe customer support for assistance”. There is literally no other information and no other options to troubleshoot or proceed other than contacting support. This is a brand new laptop, this is a brand new purchase, and a first time install.

If you want to use Photoshop CC 2018 you will need a $10 per month subscription. It is not free to people who have Photoshop Elements, which is a different app.

The kglad link I provided will lead you to the installer for Elements... but you will need to serial number provided by the vendor to be able to install
If you don't have a serial number, contact the vendor where you made the purchase

Cleaner Tool
Hello,
I had Problems with the Adobe programms so I contacted the help centre. I deleted all my Adobe programms and used the cleaner tool. Now I reinstalled a few Programms and they work perfectly now except InDesign. When I try to open it it keeps telling me that there has been a problem and that I should redownload it (what I've already done). Does anyone know why this only happens with InDesign and what I can do?

You MUST use the special version and serial number on the page, not your original disc or serial number

NOTE that CS2 will not install at all on a "modern" Mac with an Intel CPU, plus CS2 requires Rosetta and Apple removed Rosetta from OSX 10.7 (Lion) so your 10.8.5 will not work
