Two days ago, I tried again. This time, I designated CS4 as being 'CS4 Extended', and the serial number was accepted. CS6 is now installed. I should have looked at the box more closely. Chat is definitely not very helpful, but I am NOT going to complain to them.

I just want photoshop. I don't want to download other adobe programs. I understand that I have to pay for photoshop, but I don't want to be in some monthly pay plan.

Can i just have the program without dealing with all this other fluff?

download the installation files and install (as long as you have a serial number for the 2nd computer's os).

if that fails, uninstall, clean (Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6) and reinstall.

The same way you did it on your first computer should work.

Or go to Photo editor app | Download free Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5 trial

Download and install the file, and it should recognize you account.
